$14,230 Raised for Music Therapy!

Rain couldn’t stop the incredible generosity of The Roxbury Latin School‘s ninth-grade class, who gathered at the German Centre on April 26 for their “Step Up for Seniors” walk-a-thon. These amazing students set out to raise $5,000—and more than doubled it, bringing in $14,230 to support our donor-funded Music Therapy Program.

Thanks to their hard work, plus support from our community and a generous matching gift, seniors across our campus—especially those living with dementia—will continue to benefit from the healing power of music.

This event is part of a meaningful partnership with Roxbury Latin that dates back to 2012, connecting students and residents through music, storytelling, and compassion.
