Sweet Treats & Special Connections

Wednesday was filled with smiles, memories, and community as Swirls with Shannon visited German Centre with delicious soft-serve ice cream for our residents and staff.

The visit was especially meaningful as Shannon is the granddaughter of former resident Barbara Sullivan, whose legacy continues through the German Centre Sullivan-Walsh Scholarship. It was wonderful to welcome her back to campus.

Students from Ursuline Academy, Shannon’s alma mater, also joined us to host a lively trivia game, creating a fun afternoon of learning, laughter, and connection across generations.

Thank you to Shannon and the Ursuline students for making the day so memorable. It truly was a sweet celebration of community, kindness, and lasting connections.
