Wellness Nurse
Edelweiss Village at Deutsches Altenheim is a skilled nursing residence and post-acute care provider that consistently delivers high-quality, compassionate care while focusing on the development of innovative programs and services that enable individuals to live as independently as possible. We are seeking a Wellness Nurse that takes pride in delivering excellence in serving others, especially our elderly population. Edelweiss Village is an active, vibrant Assisted Living Community and is a part of our campus with an outstanding team of professionals who go above-and-beyond each day in the care of our residents.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a Wellness Nurse who has a desire to be a part of our extended community. The Wellness Nurse works as part of a team and is directly responsible for providing high quality care to our residents while being a constant companion striving to protect, nurture and sustain the residents in a competent, caring and kind manner. In addition to providing high quality care, the Wellness Nurse will be providing limited medication assistance, assessments as well being a liaison with families.
Qualifications:
- Current LPN or RN License in the state of MA
- Experience working in a geriatric setting
- Commitment to excellence in caring for our residents
- Excellent communication skills in relating to family members and other medical professionals
